Graha Gochar
Planetary Transit Forecast
Understand how current planetary movements shape your life
The cosmos never stands still — planets move through the zodiac signs in real time, creating shifting influences on your birth chart. Graha Gochar (planetary transit) is one of the most powerful predictive tools in Jyotish. When combined with your running Dasha period, transit analysis gives a dual-layer view of your current and upcoming life themes.
What's Included
Our Approach
Sade-Sati — शनि साढेसाती
Saturn's 7.5-year transit through your Moon sign and its neighbours. We assess which phase you are in, how intense it is for your chart, and what remedies can soften the pressure.
Jupiter Transit — Guru Gochar
Jupiter changes signs roughly once a year — bringing growth, wisdom, and opportunity to whichever house it transits. We show you where Jupiter is working in your chart right now.
Rahu-Ketu Axis Transit
The shadow planets shift every 18 months, triggering karmic themes in your life. We analyse where Rahu and Ketu currently sit in your chart and what themes they are activating.
Mars, Venus & Inner Planet Transits
Faster-moving planets trigger specific events. Mars transits can bring energy or conflict; Venus affects relationships and finances. We cover all key inner planet movements.
Vimshottari Dasha Integration
Transits show the weather. Your Dasha shows whether you are inside a house or standing in an open field. We combine both for a complete timing picture.
Important Transits 2025–2026
Saturn in Aquarius, Jupiter in Gemini, and Rahu in Pisces / Ketu in Virgo — the current cosmic climate analysed for your chart specifically.
Questions
Frequently Asked
What is Graha Gochar in Vedic astrology?+
Graha Gochar (ग्रह गोचर) means 'planetary transit' in Sanskrit. It refers to the real-time movement of planets through the zodiac signs and their effect on your natal birth chart. Gochar analysis is one of the most important predictive tools in Jyotish.
What is Sade-Sati and how do I know if I'm in it?+
Sade-Sati is a 7.5-year period when Saturn transits through the sign before your Moon sign, your Moon sign itself, and the sign after. It occurs roughly every 30 years. You can check if you are in Sade-Sati by knowing your Moon sign (Janma Rashi) and comparing it to Saturn's current position.
Is Sade-Sati always bad?+
Not necessarily. Saturn is a teacher, and Sade-Sati often brings maturity, discipline, and lasting growth. The experience depends heavily on Saturn's relationship with your natal chart. For some people, it can be a period of great professional success.
How often should I get a transit forecast reading?+
We recommend a full transit reading once or twice a year, especially around major planetary sign changes (Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu-Ketu). If you are going through a significant Dasha transition, more frequent check-ins can be helpful.
Can transits predict specific events like marriage or job changes?+
Transits combined with Dasha can indicate strong timing windows for life events. While we cannot predict exact events, we can identify periods that are most favourable for marriage, career moves, or starting new ventures.
What is a Muhurta and can you help me find one?+
Muhurta is the Vedic art of choosing an auspicious date and time for important events — marriage, housewarming, business launch, travel. Yes, we offer Muhurta selection as part of our consultation services.
How are transit forecasts different from a Kundali reading?+
A Kundali reading analyses your birth chart — your permanent cosmic blueprint. A transit forecast looks at what is happening in the sky right now and how it interacts with your birth chart. Both together give the most complete picture.
Can I get a transit forecast if I don't have my exact birth time?+
We can still analyse major transits relative to your Moon sign. However, house-level transit analysis requires an accurate birth time. If you are unsure, we can help with birth time rectification.
